New pics and video of Aleah....

Aleah has a new "home."   She was moved into a cot today.  The isolette is gone so long as she can maintain her own body temperature without it.  When she sleeps peacefully.. she looks like me.. when she is cranky .. i think she looks like her mom.  that will lead to many family discussions i am sure.  anyway.. enough of that..

One "serious"  photo

One Fun one.

Come again, when you can stay longer.

There are no termites in Vancouver..... well almost none:)

so the story begins...it was going to be simple... just scrape the yellow and roll on the blue... ha ha.
when scraping the cedar siding below this window, my putty knife sank in to the handle.  Someone had previously added a nice rock planter that stretched across the house just below the window above. The planter kept dirt right against the siding, providing the termites that don't exist here in Vancouver a freeway into the 2x4 plate.

close ups of the plate... chewed on by... hmmm who knows... first diagnosis was some kind of beetle...

Notice the red tipped pinchers...we had a guy come spray before we closed it back up. we may open it up and have a look in the spring.

Yellow House Blue House

Hi. Some of you may have seen the new color already.  We both like it.  Except it was so easy to tell folks to just find the yellow house.
